Moonlight in the Garden

For school year 2009-2010, the school elected to have an event run by the PFA specifically targeted at the parents and friends of Le Jardin Academy. This party, Moonlight in the Garden, was more casual than previous soiree events and was held at the lovely Pacific Club on February 20, 2010. The $75 cost included drinks, heavy pupus and dancing. There was live music, followed by a DJ. Moonlight in the Garden was a terrific and fun opportunity for Le Jardin parents to enjoy a relaxed, fun evening together.

Moonlight in the Garden also had both a live and silent auction. The proceeds will go to the school through the PFA. How ALL monies raised by the PFA during the year will be spent will be determined by the parents who worked hard to raise them. In late March, the PFA will send an email asking for parent input as to how monies should be spent. With these parent suggestions, plus those of the faculty and administration, the PFA will work with the Le Jardin Academy Administration to create a list of prospective projects to fund. This list was announced via email in mid-April.

The 2010-2011 Moonlight in the Garden parents' party will be held on February 26, 2011.
